Denver is the most innovative and exciting city between San Francisco and Chicago. It’s surrounded by spectacular mountains and outdoor adventures, yet it’s cosmopolitan and hip. And it boasts more than 200 parks, 300 days of sunshine a year (bring sunscreen and chap stick) and 50 inches of snow. And it’s not called the Mile High City for no reason. You may want to come to Denver a day early or stay a day later to get used to the elevation and get the most out of your time in Denver.
Denver has more microbreweries than any other US city, except Portland. It has great restaurants, especially Mexican, Vietnamese and Ethiopian. And steakhouses.
